Custom Chaos Lord

A Chaos Lord with daemonic armor, sculpted with greenstuff and Chaos Terminator pieces.

Vampire Drider

I wanted to have a vampire that was related to my spider ghouls, much like a Strigoi or a vampire with Ghoulkin, I made a vampire who was part spider.

Instead of using the standard models for Crypt Ghouls, I decided to use Forest Goblin Spider Rider models.

While I have not had a chance to post anything lately, I have managed to keep myself busy with a few different projects.
Things to expect from posts in the near future include more Space Wolf calvary, an Imperial General conversion in-progress, Vampire Count units such as ghouls made using Night Goblin spiders, and more.

Mounted Vampire Lord

I've managed to make a lot of progress with my mounted Vampire Lord. It is the same character that I made before, I just wanted a mounted version too.

Since then, I have finished building up the cape with green stuff and I have successfully attached him to his base.

Knight Defiler/Brass Scorpion

Here is my Night Lord Knight Defiler/Brass Scorpion on the base that had previously been posted. Much of the model was inspired by Lemmingspawn's Iron Warrior Defilers over at DakkaDakka. While his Defiler became the basis for the look that I wanted, I still tried to make my own and somewhat different. Other inspiration came from looking at Transformers concept art, when it came to attaching various bits on.

Giant 40k base

This base was made for a Defiler/Brass Scorpion I built for my Night Lord. Neither the model or the base are finished, they have been sitting on my shelf, but I hope to motivate myself to finish them both soon.

Skeleton Movement Tray

This is one of the two magnetic movement trays I've made for my skeletons. I plan to use apoxie clay to extend the edges to make it feel more like a swamp.

Vampire Counts Lord

My Vampire Lord, now placed on it's base. The branches came from the Wood Elf Battalion set and were painted scorched brown, and then drybrushed codex grey and fortress grey.

Imperial Commander Zacharias

I've been on vacation for the last week but now that I'm home, I can get back into modeling/painting.
The Imperial Guard HQ I puttied, Commander Zacharias, has been finished.

Thunderwolf Calvary: almost finished

I am getting close to finishing up the Thunderwolf cavalry.
Like the grey hunters I am mainly just down to touch ups and small details.

Chaos Daemon/Warrior

A quick conversion of a daemon warrior of khorne, made with spare bloodletter arm, head, and chaos warrior body with shield.

Nearing Completion: Space Wolves

Getting close to completion on the space wolves I am working on.   A few more touch ups for them and detail work. 

I went kinda fast on these models as my  friend wanted to break out this army for a tournament he was attending.  I got them around table top quality and decided to just wait until after to put the finishing touches on them.

Vampire Counts

Another update for my Vampire Counts army. I worked on painting the armor of my vampire lord, trying to give it a rusted look. I am still playing with the colors.

Vampire Lord

I am working on what will be my Vampire lord on foot for warhammer. The model is a Castellans of Dol Guldur from Lord of the Ring with some minor putty work in the face including the wings taken from the grave guard set. I will paint the armor to appear rusty and covered in mud.

Thunderwolf Calvary

Here is an update of the Thunder wolf calvary that I am currently working on. Everything has been based and I am in the progress of painting everything.

Imperial Guard Commander

This has been a Imperial Guard HQ work-in-progress. The figure was made from a Catachan body, tank arms and a scout head. The sword is a WHFB wood elves sword.  Green stuff was used to make the carapace armor.

WIP

Kinda a lack of posts early which I hope to correct.  I have been hard at work greenstuffing some guardsmen.  Pics should follow pretty soon, hopefully later today.

Thunderwolf Calvary

Another WIP I am doing.

This is a friends thunderwolf calvary army I am building for him.
I tried to stay away from the normal space wolf grey and went with a color closer to the old 13th company grey.

Vampire Counts skeletons

Interested in trying fantasy warhammer, I started work on a vampire counts army.  The first models I began  skeletons.

My undead army will have a swamp theme.  The units will be modeled  to appear slowly emerging from water/swamp/marsh. After the front row, each rank will be more submerged. To show that the swamp was once a forest occupied by wood elves before it was corrupted, I will decorate the bases with branches and wood elf bits.

Hobby blog

So I am starting this blog to display some of my work going forward as a painter/modeler.
I am working on setting up a commissions website to do both painting and modeling in the near future. I will be using this blog to both highlight my own work as well as display some of my work in progress and finished commission work.
